Our beautiful Axel was rescued from a factory yard, he was tied up living a minimal existence. Despite this, Axel has an extremely gentle nature. He loves massages, chicken, denta-bones and of course ice cream! Initially we weren't sure how Axel would go at the beach, as we were sure he'd never been before. Axel was absolutely mesmerized with the surroundings, people and other dogs. He now enjoys his days in permanent care, loves company and is so well behaved. He goes to tennis with his carer 3 times a week!

As Axel is an old soul he is under the permanent care programme here at the rescue, where we can provide him with the support he requires at his grand old age. Axel is on supplements for his joints and regular vet visits are a must to ensure our special boy lives out his days with the best care and quality of life as possible.
