Introducing Carter, a young male shepherd, who is seeking his forever home through our assisted rehoming program.
At under two years of age, Carter is your typical shepherd. He loves cuddles, loves to run and play and just wants to be with his people. Carter is needing a home with committed owners who are able to keep up with his energy and where he will have space to do what he loves, - run and play. Carter is toy motivated, and he loves to go for drives in the car, exploring new places, and is an affectionate, boisterous boy who loves giving and receiving cuddles.
Carter can be rehomed with one or more dogs who are also dog friendly and who are happy to share their home with a shepherd.
Carter does not do well left in the yard whilst you are at work, therefore a home where you work or study from home or on a part-time basis is preferred. A home with children aged 14 and over who have been around large boisterous dogs and as Carter has not lived with cats previously and due to his love of running, a cat-free home is required. Overall Carter is well trained and to bring out the best in him, keeping Carter physically stimulated is important. If you are an experienced large dog owner, who is an active person and into adventures, daily walks/runs and would love an additional canine companion, Carter could be the one for you.
If you can see Carter joining your family, please complete our online adoption application form via our website. If we have your application on file please email us to express your interest, noting Carter as the dog you are interested in.
Shortlisted applicants must be able to attend face to face meet & greet, along with any existing dogs at Woori Yallock Victoria.
Adoption fee includes microchip change of ownership fee.
