Emma is seeking her forever home through our assisted rehoming program
Did you know the name Emma means “whole” or universal” Essentially, she’s hoping she’ll be able to become your whole universe! A spritely 4 year old black shepherd who walks well on lead, loves her toys and treats, and if you have any cheese she’ll definitely be your best friend!
Emma is used to a quiet environment, having people around much of the day but she is comfortable being left alone for short periods inside, she does have a tendency to bark at neighbours if left alone outside. She can be a little timid around loud noises, fireworks and high winds do frighten her so she generally goes and hides. Emma is needing a shepherd experienced owner who can provide a quiet, loving environment for her. We are looking for a home where Emma is the only pet in the home so she can be the ultimate focus (Your whole universe remember)
Emma is a big girl and is quite boisterous so a home with older, dog experienced children is a must. Emma is exciteable, friendly and very affectionate but does get a little anxious so ongoing training including exposure around other dogs along with mental as well as physical, positive stimulation will help develop her confidence.
If you feel you you have the forever home for Emma, please fill out an adoption form with as much detail as possible, we are looking for specific requirements for Emma and will be in touch should you meet her needs!
