7 year old Lily is looking for her forever home through our assisted rehoming program. Lily is your typical working-line shepherd, she is full of energy, is incredibly smart, and she is looking for a confident shepherd-experienced owner for her forever home. Please read on as you may have the home that Lily needs.
Home environment : Lily is looking for a home where she will be an integral part of the family. Lily could be rehomed with a well trained male dog of similar size with controlled introductions through several meet and greets or Lily will need to be an only pet. With a strong prey-drive, Lily is not fond of cats and not suitable to share a home with pocket pets; chooks or livestock. Having space where Lily can run, play and train will bring out the best in her. Once settled into her new environment, Lily is housetrained and well behaved being left inside whilst you are at away from the home.
Children aged 12 and over who have been around working line shepherds is recommended as Lily has not been around children.
Likes : Lily loves to play fetch, her holy-roller-ball has to be her favourite ball; having a secure large area to run and she loves to learn.
Training : Lily has recently completed a two-week board and train program where she excelled. As with all training, ongoing work at home is required and a training handover/guidance from her trainer will be provided to Lily's new owner to ensure a successful transition into her new home to retain her recent new skills, which includes building Lily's confidence around other dogs.
Personality : Lily is a loyal lady who is affectionate and likes to be close by or able to see you at all times when your home. Playtime, cuddles at the end of the day and being a working line, she loves to learn and be kept busy.
